Greetings, delegates!

I am Ivy Malster, a junior at Taipei Kuei Shan School. I will be serving as
the head chair of the Human Rights Council for this year’s NTMUN.

I am an introvert who becomes an extrovert in MUNs, so do not be afraid to reach out to me!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

This will be my 15th conference and my 4th time chairing.

My MUN journey started in 7th grade, and throughout this journey, the most important thing I learned is to never be afraid. As a MUN newbie, I was always too scared to speak. Yet after being prepared and stepping up, everything immediately brightened up. Doing detailed research helped me become confident and engage in debates more. By being engaged, I was then able to improve skills, meet new friends, and win prizes. So to all delegates, my biggest advice is to be prepared and be brave.

As a chair, I am always happy to provide assistance. So if you have any questions or difficulties during the conference, make sure to let me know. I hope to create an engaging and memorable conference along with my delegates. So make sure to be prepared and be brave! Can’t wait to see
you all in November!

Greetings, delegates!

I am Sean Shen, a sophomore from AAIA, and it is my utmost honor to serve as your deputy chair for this committee at this year's NTMUN.

I started MUN in the 8th grade. My first conference was in the first semester of 8th grade, and I barely spoke. I was extremely anxious throughout the whole conference and was hoping the chair would not pick me to make a speech. But I enjoy the atmosphere and the vibe. I gradually proceeded in my MUN journey. Similar to my first conference, this is my first time chairing, which is pretty nervous, but I know that it will be a great experience.

Besides MUN, I enjoy playing chess, cycling, and sleeping. Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions. I look forward to meet you all at this year's conference.

Sean Shen
