Hey everyone!

My name is Sean Shen, a senior at Asia American International Academy, and I’m super excited to serve as your Head Chair of the General Assembly at NTMUN IV! Ever since I started MUN, I’ve been amazed by how debate and diplomacy can bring people together to solve global issues. Through every conference, I’ve learned not only how to express my ideas better, but also how important it is to listen and work with others to reach meaningful solutions. Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing all kinds of sports and love a good game of chess. Both have taught me the importance of patience, focus, and strategy—skills that definitely come in handy during conferences! I can’t wait to meet you all and see the creative ideas and passionate debates you’ll bring to the GA. See you in February!

Greetings, delegates! I’m Ashley Chen, a junior from Hsinchu County American School, and it is my honor to serve as your Deputy Chair of the General Assembly at this year’s NTMUN conference. MUN has been one of the most meaningful parts of my high school journey, shaping not only how I think but also how I engage with others. I started back in 8th grade, struggling to even raise a POI, but after every conference, I became more confident and also discovered how thrilling debate could be. Along the way, I’ve met incredible people who’ve made this experience even more memorable. Beyond MUN, you’ll usually find me looking for food, listening to rap, or playing video games; if you have any good songs, feel free to share them with me, I’m always open to new music recommendations! For this conference, I hope each of you dives in with curiosity and courage. Whether you’re new to MUN or have been doing it for years, don't hesitate to speak up!
