Head Chair
Hi! My name is Onka Hayashi, a Sophomore from Hsinchu International School, and it is truly a great honor to be able to serve as your Head Chair for General Assembly for NTMUN V. This conference will be my 14th conference and my second time chairing.
I enjoy MUN from the bottom of my heart, and I hope to inspire many to feel the same. MUN isn't just about debating and understanding politics, but also the friends that you meet along the way who keep you motivated to want to improve and step out into bigger and more diverse places around the world. Whether you are a first-time delegate or an experienced one, remember that quality is always prioritized over quantity. Take your time to make a meaningful amendment and ask POIs that question an argument.
Outside of MUN, I am in a hobby band and orchestra. I also love dancing and digging through the depths of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And honestly, I've enjoyed Psychology so far, even though I complain and procrastinate about the work.

Greetings! I’m Abigail Chang, a junior from Wego Private Senior High School. It’s my greatest honor to have all of you in the committee and chair with Onka!
My MUN journey started in my freshman year of high school. At first, I did not enjoy it at all. However, after joining my very first MUN conference, I found the fun and interest in model UN. MUN helped me make lots of new friends and meet many cool people from every background. My very first conference was Yalemun 2025. When I stepped inside the room, I saw people from all over the world, and most of them were really competitive and well-prepared (ofc I’m not one of them). I was so shocked that high school students can have the ability and bravery to go up to the podium and speak up about their opinions or solutions to solve the ongoing issue.
After the conference, I set up a goal of myself that I want to become the same person as them, have the guts to share my stances and put my effort into drafting a practical resolution. After all, I’ve already attended over 10 conferences, growing as a delegate and a chair at the same time. Besides MUN, I also enjoy playing tennis and reading books (history books especially) in my spare time.
